My company is designing a product which will have a floppy drive sitting approximately 10 feet from the floppy drive controller. My question is "Has anyone ever tested such long runs of cable?" Craig Chaiken craig@mstr.hgc.edu

I had to remove my internal floppy drive because of a new full-height hard
drive. I made my own floppy cable--it is about 3 feet long and I have had
no problems with that length.
