I recently 'found' an Ampex SMD drive which I want to connect to my vintage Sun-2. Information I received via the net (thanks Terry!) indicates that this drive is probably a clone of the CDC Phoenix drive. When I got the drive, I was told that it contains a 80 Mb fixed and a 16 Mb removable disk. What we are looking for now, is info on the number of heads (of the fixed disk) and the number of cylinders. Any other info is also most welcome.
