[comp.periphs] Acoustic insulation for laptop hard disk?

My Toshiba laptop computer contains a half-height hard disk drive that
screams at a high frequency, somewhere in the range 16-20 kHz.  I'm
looking for a way to reduce the noise.  (Acoustic insulation which
stops high frequency noise? -- but which allows adequate cooling?)

Any ideas would be gratefully received.
