I have a 200 Mbyte ST1239A with an IDE interface (running in a 20 Mhz 386 PC clone). From time to time it will simply stop -- like it is waiting for an interupt or something -- for anything up to 30 seconds. It will then (if my temper will keep me from hitting the reset button) resume working just as though nothing was wrong. Anyone have any idea of what is going on? I am about to leave for 3 weeks, so I will miss any answer posted to this group. Please e-mail any reply. Many thanks.
