[comp.periphs] Termination on Chinon floppy drives

woon@plains.NoDak.edu (Sze T. Woon) (05/19/91)

Could someone help me with the jumper settings of my floppy disk drives?

I want to make the 3.5 inch drive Drive A and 5.25 inch drive Drive B.
Drive B will be an external drive and somtimes not hooked up to the PC.
I have made my own straight through cable (it has no twist in it).

First drive: Chinon
             Model FB-357 Rev. B
             (1.44 M , 3.5 inch)

        1 2 3 power
connector What is PJ3 for or do ?

How do I terminate or not terminate
                                         this drive ?
         REAR of drive
