[comp.periphs] JVC hard drive question

I have just acquired a hard drive and board, but no documentation.
I would like to find out what I have got and if I can use it on an IBM 
compatible.

drive manufactured by        JVC  (Victor Co. of Japan)
model number (on drive)      JD 3824R00-1
model number (on case)       JD 3824R0H0
silkscreen on board          EA 1085-002       ENW-073      NTP-NMC-T
