The Metropolitan Chapter of the Human Factors Society Annual Symposium
will be held November 15, 1988 in New York, NY.
The theme is "The Role of Failure in the Design Process."
The Keynote Speaker is  Henry Petroski, Director of
Graduate Studies in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Duke University and
author of "To Engineer Is Human: The Role of Failure in Successful Design."

Panelists include:
Hugh Bowen - Human Factors Consultants, Inc.
Betty Goldsberry - Lockheed Engineering and Sciences
Paul Green - University of Michigan
John Thomas - NYNEX Science and Technology

The symposium will run from 9:00AM-4:30PM, on Novemeber 15, 1988.
