			 Princeton University

A full-time research programmer (Technical Staff Member) is needed to join
an Artificial Intelligence and Education research project in the Cognitive
Science Laboratory at Princeton University.  This person will assist in the
design and construction of interactive learning environments, including a
computerized textbook and problem solving environment (on Sun workstations)
and an intelligent tutoring system that reasons about users' solutions to
problems and provides advice (on Mac FX computers).

QUALIFICATIONS:
    *   B.A. or B.S. in engineering, computer science, or a related field
    *   Proficiency in Common LISP, C, and Unix
    *   Highly desirable additional experience includes experience
        constructing menu-driven interfaces on Suns or Macintosh
        and experience with object-oriented Lisp environments.

The target starting date for this position is January '91.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
