[comp.cog-eng] How to get Proto Tymer?

strub@cogsci.ucsd.EDU (Hank Strub) (02/12/91)

I've just read about ProtoTymer, a free software tool that's supposed
to be available from Sandia Labs. I've read about it being
integrated in Hypercard applications, although it might be independent

in Hypercard applications, although it might be independent of
of Hypercard. ProtoTymer records key and mouse presses to the nearest
1/60 of a second plus it's supposed to provide functions for scanning
and sorting sessions.

The direct references are 2 papers by D. P. Miller in HFS Conference
Proceedings. Unfortunately, I don't have access to them.

I'm hoping for info. on who to contact at Sandia, and how. Plus, I'd
be interested in hearing about experiences with ProtoTymer.

Thanks,

[I saw it referred to in an SAE Technical Paper: Green, P., Boreczky,
J., and Kim, S. (1990) Applications of rapid prototyping to control
and display design. [apparently] SAE 900470. (reprinted from SP-809
