A friend of mine found this on a BB somewhere. Does anybody have any experiece with this and UUCP? It sounds really good. I've tried to trim a lot of the hype away from it. I have removed the phone number so it isn't too commercial. Send me mail if you want it. And no, I don't work for them either My friend called FASTCOMM and they seemed willing to sell him one at the regular price of $1100, but they were unable to tell him the number of a BB that had them at the cheaper price. He didn't know what protocol it's 9600 baud was, nor if whne it degraded to 2400 baud was it V.22 compatible. --------- start of included text --------------------------------- EVI/Fastcomm Data Corp. will sell to you as the authorized SYSOP of your Bulletin Board, FASTCOMM 2496 Modems for a one time special price of $500.00 each.
