DAK Industries in LA has what seems to be a pretty good deal ($150) on a 1200 baud modem made by ADC (division of BSR). They claim that it's "Hayes compatible", but well do I know that to be a loaded term. Is anyone out there familiar with this beast? In particular, can it talk to a real Hayes and does it get along with tip and uucp? Please mail responses to me and I will summarize to the net if requested.
