We are using a number of Concord Data Systems Model 224AD autodial modems. While we have a modemcaps entry that works most of the time, the modem has two modes: an interactive mode (with a ">" prompt) and a silent mode (no prompt). If the modem gets into the interactive mode, the modemcaps entry we have does not reason well enough to take it back to the silent mode.
