[comp.dcom.modems] Paradyne LDM-5, need specs

     I found 4 Paradyne LDM-5 modems in the garbage, and salvaged
them.  I don't know if they work or not, or whether they will be
useful.  I'd like to connect through a dedicated circuit at 9600
to an arpanet packet-switching node in the basement.  Can anybody
tell me:

     1.  The speed of the LDM-5?
     2.  The distance limit?
