This is peripheral to the purpose of this list, so please forgive. However, this is the list closest to the topic of my query, which is: Does anyone know what has happened to the "Telecom" mailing list? It seems to have completely vanished, both as the Telecom Digest, and as the direct-redistribution mailing list. The last Digest was #21, dated 30 June, and no individual messages have come to the Simtel20 Telecom BBoard since then, either. Thanks for any word! Regards, Will Martin -------

Well, sorry to pester the list with my query on the status of "Telecom". No sooner do I finally decide to ask about it, after a four-week gap, than the list revives again on its own. The moderator mentioned in one of the new digests that the gap was due to a combination of computer problems and vacation. Both digests and individual messages are now being distributed over the Internet. I did get a response from one person indicating that the USENET side had been active all along, so the list readers on USENET are probably wondering whatever it is I was babbling about... Ah, well...
