Just for the netlander info...I am posting this since the subject of this
request asked about obtaining UUCP software. I must assume at this point
that the user has no direct connection to the net.

Sorry if this bugs some of you but I'm just trying to be a nice guy.

Hit 'n' if you don't want to see where you can obtain B news source.

I don't know about DC but if you have a phone system like ours, that charges
per message unit (i.e. for how long you are on the phone) it could cost you
about $20 month beyond your current bill if you have a very close feed or as
much as $60 or more if you have to call to some far away but in the calling
area feed. Lucky for us we are next to a major feed site and most of our
other sites are close.

If you don't have uucp then you need to get the UUPC code that will run
H&D version UUCP. It's ok but could be better. As far as B News...well
all you have to do is

Once again, B News source is available for anonymous UUCP from skeeve:

All files are in /usr/spool/uucppublic. What's available:

The only thing of interest to those who already have an earlier version
is src.cpio.Z which is now at patchlevel 12. I don't think the others
have changed since 2.11 was first released.

Enjoy,
