Whenever I use our Trailblazer modems to dial up a modem which is
doing any error correction, I get sporadic bursts of noise. Modems I
have problems with include different Vadic models (VA4224E, VA3467P),
and a NEC 2420. I have no problems with a General Instruments (model
no.?) or a US Robotics Datalink. I believe that the difference is
that the GI and USR modems do not do error correction. Also, can
anybody give me the name of th ARPANET archive for this newsgroup?
