I tried posting this in hypercard with no result so I thought I would try a couple more places. with red ryder 10.3. However, when she tries to dial out using a hypercard stack it does not work. More specifically she is using the address stack of hypercard. What happens is the modem is opened and begins to dial and after about three numbers it drops carrier and all lights go off and the call, of course, is aborted. I have tried playing with switches on the modem without any success. Modem works fine on another program. I cannot find any settings other than pulse vs tone in the software. Has anyone got any ideas? Jack
