[comp.dcom.modems] Desperately searching for a network-address...

DEGROOT@HWALHW50.BITNET (03/07/88)

Sorry, to disturb you, but all other ways failed:

I am searching for the network-address of one of the 'makers' of
UNIX, the famous operating system. The following three names
come into my mind: Dennis Ritchie, Ken Thompson and Brian W.
Kernighan. Perhaps you know where I can find one of them?
If not, please give a network-address of some-one else who
        might be able to help.

        Thanks a lot in advance,

I remember about a year and a half or so ago, Dennis Ritchie had an
account he was using on ucbvax (or was it ucbarpa?). I'm not real
certain about it, but he used to fiddle around on their machines.
It's a lead at least.
