The ten minute modem problem that you are having sounds to me like a telephone problem. I forgot, did you say this happens with local calls? I know that this year my School Long Distance service had ten minute timing beeps put into the service, which were very aggravating, till I figured out that I could extend the time between loss of carier and hangup on my modem. It was one of the Sregisters on my hayes compatible modem. I beleive S10. By extending the time between loss of carrier, and hanguip, It just caused it to have a little bit of bad data, which my file transfer protocal was able to deal with. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Wim Bonner (King-Rat) The Loft - (509)335-7407 - 300/1200/2400 - 24hrs/day - PCboard 12.1/d Acknowledge-To: <27313853@WSUVM1>
