[comp.dcom.modems] Is V.32 half duplex?

Could you elaborate a little on why you feel that the V.32 standard is half 
duplex?  I understood that data was sent in both directions simultaneously 
with each modem using the full bandwidth of the voice-grade medium (copper) 
with this being made possible by virtue of the modem's receiver canceling 
out the reception of the signal its transmitter is sending.  Am I wrong?
