[comp.dcom.modems] protocols needed to diag remote modems

I am looking to get hold of some software or protocols to diag
few HAYES 2400 baud modems, some RacalVadic modems that we have
on our machines that have to be reset from time to time so that
we could do it from home without having to call in to work.

Many a times our RacalVadics which are connected to DECSERVERS
are unable to reset from a dialouts to dialin.
being unable to replicate this the only solution is to turn the
power switch off and on again. Same is true for HAYES.
