[comp.dcom.modems] 8088 source code

HE891C@GWUVM.BITNET (The Time Traveler) (11/23/88)

I am looking for 8088 IBM PC assembly source for implementing as many
modem protocols (like XMODEM, ZMODEM, SEA-Link, X.PC, etc.) as I can get
my hands on. I already have some C code, but I want it in assembly.
I would really prefer that the source code be "authorized" by the authors
of the protocols - just so that I know they're accurate and complete.
Thanx

I really can't think of one good reason in the world to do this, since
C code should keep up with the modem at least to 9600 baud, but why not
tell you C compiler to emit assembler source? It won't be any different,
but you'll have the satidfaction of being able to go in and break, I
mean hand optimize, the code.
