Recently there was some discussion of problems with the Packard Bell PB2400Plus modem in answering calls at differing speeds, someone said that this can be fixed by twiddling bits in a bit mapped register (S34) but didn't say how exactly, problem is Packard Bell neglected to talk about this register in their manual, the register is there alright but I haven't the slightest clue what to do with it.
