On my home system I have recently acquired a Samsung sm2400A which appears to be a reasonably close emulation of the Hayes command set (I can't tell for sure, I don't have a Hayes 2400). The problem I have is that it's manual indicates it can Tone dial the "#" key -- which it doesn't do. The manual indicates no USA domestic contact, only the head office in the Joong-Ang Daily News building in Seoul, Korea. I'm not gonna call or visit. 1) Any pointers to a domestic contact would be welcome. The dealer who sold it to me has gone out of business. (hmmmmmmm......) 2) Anyone running this modem out there? Can you get it to dial the touch-tone "#"? (I've tried "ATDT 5551234,,,,#" etc. - nothing). thanks for the help ...walt... -- Walt Weber Apollo Computer (508) 256-6600 x7165 People's Republic of Massachusetts -The views expressed herein are personal, and not necessarily Apollo's-
