We recently upgraded two Zenith Z248 PCs to 386's with 4MB of memory. The Z248's are now running at 16Mhz but we are having trouble running Procomm 4.2 and 4.2.2 from com ports 1 or 2. The PC will operate under Procomm at 300 bit/s using an acoustic coupler into an IBM pcm mainframe as before. But we have not been able to communicate with our e-mail host which is accessed thru a Gandalf PACX over a dedicated pair running at (9000-N-8-1). We appear to be sending but nothing is being echoed back to the screen. In the interim, we are connecting by using the ZSTEM commo package over com port 3 which is not supported by Procomm. We would appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks in advance. Ed Corcoran US Army Test & Eval. Cmd. VON 298-4458/4971 Comm. (301) 278-4458/4971
