Does the modem ALWAYS ignore all other control signals? Does it assert DSR and CD properly? A modem with a three-wire serial interface is no bargain at any price, except under the most primitive circumstances mike berger department of statistics, univ of ill berger@atropa.stat.uiuc.edu .

Of cource not: it supports all conventional hardwired handshake signals (DSR, DTR, RI, CD etc).
