I just picked up a Racal Vadic 2400PA-MNP modem at Trenton State's flea market. I was told it was MNP compatible and Hayes compatible. Right now it won't autodial and eats the high bit on IBM-PC graphics. Anyone have the docs on the internal jumpers and setups? (I can live without autodial but I'd like 8 bit file transfer). -- Bill Pechter -- Home - 103 Governors Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701 (201)370-0709 Work -- Concurrent Computer Corp., 2 Crescent Pl, MS 172, Oceanport,NJ 07757 Phone -- (201)870-4780 Usenet . . . rutgers!pedsga!tsdiag!scr1!pechter ** Why is it called software when it's so hard to install. In article <316@scr1.UUCP> pechter@scr1.UUCP I write: >I just picked up a Racal Vadic 2400PA-MNP modem at Trenton State's flea >market. I was told it was MNP compatible and Hayes compatible. I found the control-E setup command, I still haven't been able to get 8-bits through it. I tried 0,1,2,and 3 in the character length field. Any suggestions? -- Bill Pechter -- Home - 103 Governors Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701 (201)370-0709 Work -- Concurrent Computer Corp., 2 Crescent Pl, MS 172, Oceanport,NJ 07757 Phone -- (201)870-4780 Usenet . . . rutgers!pedsga!tsdiag!scr1!pechter ** Why is it called software when it's so hard to install.
