Does Zmodem support LF to CRLF translations with the '-a' switch as the documentation purports or not? I've compiled the Unix version from SIMTEL20 on a sun3 (68020) and a 386i and neither program will recognize the '-a' switch. I can always use Xmodem (in Ymodem text mode) but I would like to know if other Zmodem users have this problem with 7 to 8 bit downloads. Roger

Both rz and sz accept the -a flag, as in "sz -a foo.c".

What is "Ymodem text mode"? Please note that YMODEM is a batch
protocol with file names sent by the sending program.
