I have a couple of modems and answering machines connected to extensions on our in-house NEC voice PBX. The problem is, when they go off-hook, the light on the telephone does not come on which makes it prone to others picking up the extension when in use. Does anyone have any experience with an add-on product that can go between the voice PBX and modem, detect off hook and short the A-leads? A few years ago, Radio Shack was selling one, but it didn't work on our PBX. Any suggestions? -- Glen Marianko - glen@aecom.yu.edu P.S. Someone gave me the name of a company "COMCORE" in NYC, but the phone number (689-9018) is answered by another company and information couldn't find them. In the immortal words of a local weatherman, "HELLLLLLLLLLLO COMCORE!!!!???", you alive?
