I am posting this for a friend. They would like to use Timbuktu Remote from Farallon Computing. They have been looking for a decent 9600 baud modem. I have the Telebit TrailBlazer Plus at work and am very impressed with it. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the T1000. I noticed that The MacZone was selling it for $749. Please E-mail any suggestions. So far all has been well, I'm getting about 800-900 baud through put to a TB+. The main reason I got it was for news feed, and that it was easyer to justify $600 for a T1000 than $1040 for a TB+. It doesn't have V32 or MNP above 4, but it does have the UUCP protocol built in. -- Classic Quotes from STNG: "Pen Pals" Picard: Her society is aware .. that there is intersteller life? Data: No Sir.
