[comp.dcom.modems] XPC protocol

paul@csnz.co.nz (Paul Gillingwater) (06/15/89)

Hi guys and gals,

Does anyone know of a source of implementations of XPC under UNIX
or even (choke) DOS?

For those who tuned in late, XPC seems to be an asynchronous
implementation of X.25, which might work over dial-up asynch
modems. Apparently it's being popularised by McConnel-Douglas
in an attempt to "standardise" it.

I presume it is considered as a "replacement" for schemes
such as MNP (which has already been obsoleted by LAP-B).
