This is a plea for help. I have just received a couple of modems that I know nothing about. In fact, I know little about any modem. Here is what I have: Ven-Tel ALD-3 vintage 1982 EPSON CX-20 acoustic In fact, I have a few others but they are not with me today, so I can't remember model numbers, etc. If someone can tell me some basics about these two above I would greatly appreciate it. This might be better offline, instead of posting to the list. Remember I don't know much about modems, ie. how to hook up and what's needed to hook up to a home computer.
