Has anyone ever lost a modem to a phone line spike? What did you do?
What did the phone*company do?
Apparently, i just lost my 2400 external to a spike... all of a sudden it
spat out garbage and refused to work properly. I powered sown completely,
and upon turning it back on, it makes a awful noise, and comes up about 50%
of the time... when i go to dial, it picks up the phone, and SOMETIMES
gets the first digit out. After that, it's catatonic.
Anyone with similar experiences?
