Linkoping University Sweden Keywords: modems, voice Is there anyone that know of a modem that multiplexes voice and data in a way that a) normal mode is voice, ie you have a telephone and use it, telephobne is connected through the modems on both sides. b) when a data transfer request is done to one sides modem, it interupts the voice traffic, send an identifying signal to the other modem, and starts to transfer data. When data is transferred the sender modem send an new signal to the other modem and the voice connection is resumed. c) The data connection does not need to be duplex, half duplex is ok.
