I've come across what appear to be some pretty ancient Telebit Trailblazer modems. I'm wondering if anyone can give me a sketch of what version of the modems would be new enough to be usable to talk to other Trailblazers. I'm also concerned that they be new enough to have firmware that handles SLIP well. I vaguely remember something about adjusting the micro-packet size for reasonable interactive response. If possible, I'd like to know what it might cost me to upgrade a modem if either the firmware or the hardware was too far out of date. (I'm pretty well aware of the costs associated with going to V.32 - or whatever it was that caused the fuss over upgrade pricing in January of this year.) Thanks... -- Scott S.
