[comp.dcom.modems] Will Microcom support v.32

I saw (with much envy) that Telebit continues to support newer protocols
with ROM upgrades. I was wondering if anyone had heard if Microcom
intends to support V.32 on their AX/9624c modems?

Nobody has a rom upgrade to take a 2400 baud modem to 9600 baud v.32. Not
telebit, Not microcom, not anybody.

V.32 requires lots more hardware (part for trellis encoding, part for
echo cancellation, etc.) than v.22bis modems.
