[comp.dcom.modems] TELEBIT DOCUMENTATION

modems@telebit.UUCP (Modem Mail Account) (02/09/90)

Hello! It has been pointed-out to us, especially at USENIX,
that we have been absent from participation in the newsgroup
for quite some time. We do apologize for any inconvenience
caused to anyone addressing questions, comments, flames,
opinions, or gaffe to TELEBIT, who did not receive a prompt
response. In the future we will be monitoring this newsgroup,
at the very minimum, on a weekly basis. We also encourage
any and all correspondence to our various e-mail addresses.
We also welcome your visit at any of our various trade show
functions. Although we may not always have a technical
contact on-hand, we will make our best attempts at seeing
that your requests are duly processed.

Our participation in UNIX related activities and functions
has been fairly constant. We welcome any offers from the
various UNIX users groups for presentations and/or product
demonstrations. We are continuing to offer special discounts
through closely monitored programs such as IDNDP. We have also
started to update our on-line documentation to better support
OS and OEM systems updates, new TELEBIT products, and new
developments in data communications such as TCP/SLIP, compressed
	TCP/SLIP, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), KA9Q, etc.. I have
included a list which includes our e-mail address for these
	requests.

UUNET Communication Services now has our literature on-line
for anonymous FTP, UUCP, or UUCP via their new 1-900-GOT-SRCS
service. This documentation will also be part of their SRC
distribution tapes. More on this as a full instruction
document is written on "how-to" get this information.

We ask your assistance in better serving and participating in
this user community through any comments, suggestions, questions,
	etc. please direct correspondence to:
