[comp.dcom.modems] Modems to communicate with Japan

I have a need to set up uucp communications with modems from the
US to Japan.  Does anyone have any idea what the PTT requirements for modems
are in Japan.  V.32 or PEP ok?  I have control over both sides of the
connection.  Mail replies and I will summarize.
