[comp.dcom.modems] What modems are good for remote terminals?

glass@vixvax.mgi.com (William H. Glass) (04/08/90)

I am looking for some good modems to handle dial-ins from remote
terminals. There is just a person typing at a keyboard at the remote end,
but running programs that do LOTS of screen updating. These folks are
used to 9600 or 19.2K at work and would like to get similar response at
home. Since I'm buying modems for both ends, I don't have to worry about
compatability issues. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't need
support for Kermit, X/Y Modem, UUCP, etc. E-Mail to me directly, and if
there is enough interest, I'll summarize.
