[comp.dcom.modems] Wanted: Info on Racal-Vadic VA212LC

xxseub@osprey (Steven Eubanks) (05/27/90)

I've recently acquired a Racal-Vadic VA212LC modem without a power supply.
Does anyone know the voltages and current ratings necessary to feed the
3-pin power connector on the back of the modem? Thanks.

Racal modems use a power supply that is rated about 22VAC .5-.75A betwee the two
outer pins, with the center pin connected to the center tap. This is probably
not critical and a Radio-Shack 24V Center-tapped filament transformer would
probably get some action.
