No doubt this is something simple, but I can't seem to get anywhere with it. We have a number of Avatex 2400e modems connected to our UNIX box. If someone logs in a 1200 baud, the modems will refuse to let anyone else log in at 2400 baud until reset, or until someone calls out at 2400. We have register 21 set to cause the modem to be reset when DTR is dropped, and indeed the modem does seem to be reset when someone logs out. But the high speed light (off during the 1200 baud connect) does not come back on, and people who try to log in at 2400 get 1200 instead. Thanks in advance.
