Hello Netters.
Is there anybody out there in networld who is able to tell me where to
find any information about the:
Microcom Network Protocol (MNP)
MNP is used between modems.
When one MNP modem is talking with another MNP modem they can use this
protocoll.
Somewhere I have heard that this protocoll is covering up to level
7 of the ISO-OSI model can anyone confirm or denye this...
If you can tell me witch advantage MNP gives compared to other methods of
comulicating between modems, or
if you know about any good book(s) where this topic is discussed, or
if you can tell me where to find the recommendations for MNP,
