I would like to drive the serial port on my AST Premium/286 at 19200 but the MS/DOS mode command only allows upto 9600. I have successfully communicated at 19200 using Qmodem but, its VT100 emulation is the pits. Is there some way I can have the serial port run at 19200? Terminal under Windows 3 has a 19200 option but it seems to revert back to 9600. Any windows based communication packages out there that support 19.2Kb? Thanks. -- iNDRA | indra@amd.com (Indra Singhal) (408) 749-5445 | {ames decwrl apple pyramid sun uunet}!amdcad!indra | MS 167; Box 3453; 901, Thompson Pl., Sunnyvale, CA 94088

Crosstalk for Windows 1.1 supports 19200 baud. However, on a 286 machine you are going to lose characters during the screen emulation translation from Escape codes to screen text. - Jeff (jaltman@ccmail.sunysb.edu)
