I am in need of finding some modems/line drivers that will operate
on 20 Guage cable/unloaded pairs that can run @ 300/600 BPS Async.
Does anyone know if there is something on the market that can do
the job or will we have to design something to do it? The other
requirement is that we only have one pair and we need to pass data
in both directions and be capable of transmission distances of 50
miles, so it will have to run Half Duplex. Also at the remote end
the only power available will be 12VDC recharged by Solar Cells.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated......Thanks
