Does anyone know the relative performance perception of a 9.6K digital tail circuit compared to an analog 9.6K inbound and 14.4K outbound tail circuit? For example could the faster turnaround of the DSU compared to a modem give the user the perception of equivalent response and throughput? What variables need to be considered in such a comparison?
