I'm looking for any way of implementing any of these beasts on an IBM370 running CMS. I REALLY NEED THIS IF POSSIBLE! Kermit is fine, but it really tends to increase the time needed to up/down load the files. As I run an Apple, it is not possible for me to download iwth YTerm, the only other program I could find that would work directly with the IBM370. Help me please! I've been told by some that it is impossible because it is a 7E1 connection, but even a text only transmission mode would speed things up (I mean allow the two machines to only send and recieve text with the above protocols), since most of the stuff I d/l is in a text format anyways. I really hope this is the right group for this kind of thing. The description said modem and communications, so this was about the only one that was even close. Any help would be appreciated. Please reply e-mail, as I have little time to read newsgroups, but HAVE to read my mail! That has to fall under university approved uses...
