I have one of the Zoom 2400 baud modems, but since so many other people seem to sell the same one under their own label, other people might be able to answer my questions also. 1. Does anyone know if the SendFax or equivelent capability to send only a fax document from the modem is just software only, or whether it requires some slightly different hardware, and if so, is it available as an uprade from the factory. I use the modem with a Mac, so I would need the appropriate software. 2. A company that seems to resell OEM Zoom modems is MacProducts USA, a Macintosh mail order firm. In their current ad, they advertise a V.42 MNP5 modem for $199. Does anyone have any information on this, what speed it runs at, how good it is, etc. Thanks for any info.
