Hello all, I am planning on using several Multitech 224E modems for printing to some of our remote offices. Our vax will be generating reports, dialing a remote 224E, where the remote modem is attached to a printer, and printing the reports to the remote printer. We are currently using this system w/Concord 224 modems in protected mode, however, we are losing the protected paramater on occasion due to power problems at the remote end. Has anyone out there used these modems for this purpose, or has anyone used another brand of modem for a similar application. Thanks in advance for all the help.
