Recently everybody has been offering V.42/V.42bis modem upgrades. I recently got one from USRobotics for my Courier DS. I also have a Racal-Vadic 2400VP which is several years old. A while back they offered a MNP4-MNP5 upgrade; I was wondering if anyone knows whether they have/plan to have a V.42 upgrade. I suppose this might not just be a ROM change, since RAM and CPU horsepower requirements might have to be met first. If that's the case' it would not be worthwhile. But the 2400VP is a great modem, and I'd like to see it modernized.

That's old stuff..... There are two different vendors now, RACAL MILGO and the old RACAL VADIC. Vadic will handle the older lines of modems 9632VP 2400PA & VP etc... Milgo will concentrate on the new technology. The RMD3221, 3222, 3220, 3264, 3281 etc.....
