A few days ago I posted a message asking about the availablity of 16550 UARTs mail order. Several people have asked me to post a summary so here it is. (Note if you favorite electronics store is not on here, please don't send their address to me I've already ordered mine ;-) 1. I've bought two NS16550AFN's (the newest-revision 16550's) from Consolidated Computers in New Jersey. Last I checked, they had pulls for $12.50 and new chips for $16.. add $1.50 for UPS ground and $4 for UPS 2nd day air. Both of my chips were pulls and work great (using one on my 14.4KBaud BBS, baud locking at 38.4K). Anyhow, give them a call..
